100% Silk scarf, is it approximately 55 x 55cm, hand painted with hand rolled edges.
Unique piece light weight silk very pretty and luxurious feeling. The design is based on aloe vera and other succulents found on the Iberian Peninsula leaf , in greens, aqua and blue.
This smaller square scarf is painted using steam fixed dyes and has a hand rolled hem. This beautiful light fabric falls beautifully.
Each handmade scarf is one of a kind and is a piece of art in itself. Drawing inspiration from olive trees on the Iberian Peninsula, the scarf would be beautiful in hair, as a neckerchief, or adorning your favourite bag.
Each scarf is handmade and, due to the dying and painting process (although much effort is made to remove all dye post steaming), darker colours may still transfer onto lighter colours.
Care instructions
Hand washable in luke warm water, iron on low heat while still wet to preserve the silk. I recommend washing it by hand with mild soap or children’s shampoo. Do not twist. Do not soak. Remove excess water by rolling up in a towel. Iron while still damp
